Arvind Kejriwal announces 15-point winter action plan to curb pollution in Delhi

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced a 15-point winter action plan to combat pollution in the city. Kejriwal claimed that pollution levels have decreased by around 30% over the past eight years due to various government initiatives. As part of the plan, teams will monitor open garbage burning, water sprinklers will be deployed to prevent dust pollution, and vehicles’ pollution certificates will be checked. Additionally, the Pusa biodecomposer, a solution that turns paddy straw into manure, will be sprayed on 5,000 hectares of farmland. The government has also identified 13 pollution hotspots and will monitor them closely.
